Actress Brie Larson indicated in recent remarks that she is moving away from politically focused commentary and placing greater emphasis on entertainment projects.

Speaking after what she described as the most enjoyable press day of her career, Larson questioned her earlier focus on serious, issue-driven discussions, suggesting a change in how she approaches public appearances.

Larson, born Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers, rose to global prominence through her role in Captain Marvel. During that period, she frequently addressed cultural and political topics, which drew both support and criticism.

Actor Samuel L. Jackson said in a past interview that Larson was affected by Donald Trump’s 2016 election victory, recalling conversations the two had while working together earlier in her career.

In recent years, however, Larson has largely avoided political commentary in public settings. Her appearances have instead centered on entertainment projects, including work connected to gaming and collaborations with Nintendo.

She has also spoken about the relationship between film and video games, suggesting that the film industry can draw lessons from the storytelling and audience engagement found in gaming.

Larson has participated in international promotional events, including appearances in Japan, where she expressed enthusiasm for gaming culture.

“I love Nintendo so much. I’ve been playing it my entire life,” she said. “I’m so grateful to be
