The Club for Growth PAC has officially endorsed Louisiana State Senator Blake Miguez in the race for Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District, praising him as a “proven conservative fighter” as he seeks to replace Rep. Julia Letlow, who is running for U.S. Senate. Miguez’s record on school freedom, lower taxes, and spending cuts earned the backing of the conservative political action committee.

Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh announced the endorsement, pointing to Miguez’s credentials as a member of the Club for Growth Foundation’s 2025 Fellowship class and his advocacy for limited government and economic freedom in the Louisiana state legislature. “Blake Miguez is a proven conservative fighter who has championed school freedom, lower taxes, and spending cuts during his time in the Louisiana state legislature,” McIntosh said. “Miguez is the perfect candidate to represent Louisiana’s 5th District on Capitol Hill, and Club for Growth PAC is proud to endorse him in the race.”

The endorsement highlights Miguez’s alignment with core conservative priorities as the district looks for continued representation in Congress. Club for Growth PAC, affiliated with Club for Growth Action, reported that 79% of its endorsed candidates won their races in 2024. Miguez’s campaign is expected to benefit from the group’s support as he positions himself as a conservative choice in the race for LA-05.
