Witnesses reported multiple loud blasts, streaks of missiles across the sky, and plumes of black smoke rising from the luxury hotel district, with emergency vehicles responding amid ongoing interceptions. Dubai's media office confirmed an incident in a Palm Jumeirah building that caused the fire, while flights at Dubai International Airport were halted.

Across the UAE capital of Abu Dhabi, state media reported one civilian killed by shrapnel from intercepted missiles, with smoke observed offshore and near key areas like Al Dhafra and the Corniche. The UAE Ministry of Defense stated its systems intercepted the projectiles with high efficiency, calling the assault a "blatant violation of national sovereignty and international law."

The strikes followed a major U.S.-Israeli operation against Iran earlier Saturday, which Israeli sources said killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other top leaders.
