Pastor Jackson Lahmeyer, founder of Pastors For Trump and lead pastor of Sheridan Church in Tulsa, officially announced his campaign for Congress on Tuesday at the Tulsa County Republican Party Headquarters, positioning himself as a faith-driven outsider focused on restoring conservative leadership.
Lahmeyer has built a national profile as a prominent faith leader, organizing a grassroots network of pastors and community leaders across all 50 states. Through Pastors For Trump, he has played a key role in mobilizing faith-based voters and supporting President Donald Trump’s America First agenda. At Sheridan Church, Lahmeyer has grown a strong congregation while hosting major conservative figures, including Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.
He also serves on the National Faith Advisory Board and works closely with the White House Faith Office on issues affecting religious communities, further expanding his influence beyond Oklahoma.
His campaign launch comes at a time when faith-based voters are expected to play a significant role in the 2026 midterm elections, and Lahmeyer is already drawing support from prominent conservative voices. Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani have both endorsed his candidacy, praising his commitment to conservative principles and strong leadership.
In announcing his run, Lahmeyer emphasized his background outside of politics and his commitment to representing Oklahoma values. He pointed to his opposition to COVID-era restrictions on churches and his consistent support for Trump’s policies as evidence of his willingness to stand firm under pressure.
Lahmeyer said his campaign will focus on advancing the America First agenda, restoring trust in government, and delivering leadership grounded in faith, service, and accountability. He framed his candidacy as an alternative to career politicians, arguing that voters are looking for leaders who will prioritize their values and bring stability to Washington.
