A survey of likely Republican primary voters conducted by Public Opinion Strategies shows Collins with 32% support, followed by Rep. Buddy Carter at 18% and former football coach Derek Dooley at 12%. The poll included 600 likely GOP primary voters and found that approximately a third of respondents remain undecided.

Collins benefits from strong name recognition, with 71% of likely voters aware of him, including 41% with a favorable view. Carter is known by 63% of voters (33% favorable), while Dooley is known by 50% (24% favorable).

The poll also indicates a favorable environment for Republicans in the state: 67% of likely GOP voters say Georgia is headed in the right direction, and 84% approve of President Donald Trump, including 61% who strongly approve.

Collins has previously achieved grassroots support across all 159 Georgia counties and has built a robust fundraising operation, further consolidating his position as the early frontrunner in the race to unseat Ossoff.
