This connection has raised questions about his judgment and associations in sensitive defense-related industries.

Earlier this year, Kelly released a video urging military personnel to defy orders from President Trump, a move that sparked sharp criticism from veterans and military leaders.

Kelly is expected to be one of many Democrats considering a 2028 run, joining a potentially crowded field where his record and controversies are likely to face close scrutiny.
