The Racist History of Planned Parenthood

In this episode, I take a look at the controversial history of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, her involvement with the eugenics movement, and the impact abortion continues to have on Black communities. As the ninth of ten children, this one is personal for me. If my mother had chosen abortion, there would be no Mark Robinson, no family of my own, and no journey that led me to become North Carolina’s first Black lieutenant governor.
