A Mexican national who had been deported from the United States twice was taken into custody last week following a large-scale methamphetamine seizure in Georgia.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations unit arrested Pedro Guadarrama-Loza on August 13. Agents seized 126 kilograms of methamphetamine during the operation.

Guadarrama-Loza entered the country illegally and had previously been removed on two separate occasions. The latest arrest underscores ongoing enforcement actions targeting repeat violators involved in drug trafficking.

Homeland Security Investigations focuses on cross-border criminal activity, including the smuggling of narcotics. The seizure represents a significant disruption to methamphetamine distribution networks operating in the region.

Federal authorities continue to prioritize cases involving individuals with prior removal orders who return and engage in criminal conduct.
