Anna Marie Crocker, a 34-year-old former teacher’s aide in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 51.5 years in prison followed by 32 years of extended supervision after pleading guilty to sexually abusing four underage boys, according to prosecutors. The sentence, handed down by Judge David Hughes, means Crocker will not be eligible for release until she is approximately 85 years old.
Crocker pleaded guilty in December to first-degree child sexual assault, child sexual exploitation for filming, second-degree sexual assault of a child, use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, intimidation of a victim, and child enticement involving sexual contact.
During sentencing, Crocker told the court she accepted responsibility and expressed regret for the harm caused. Judge Hughes, however, said she deliberately targeted and exploited children.
Kenosha County Deputy District Attorney Rosa Delgado, who prosecuted the case, said the outcome delivered justice for the four victims, accusing Crocker of grooming the boys and attempting to intimidate them. Kenosha County District Attorney Xavier Solis described the case as a profound breach of trust, particularly because Crocker was connected to a local school.
The investigation began in October 2024 when the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department Sensitive Crime Unit looked into allegations involving a current and former student. At the time, Crocker was employed as a teaching assistant at Riverview Elementary School. Authorities arrested her on Oct. 11, 2024, and the school board terminated her employment three days later.
According to the criminal complaint, the offenses involved boys between the ages of 12 and 16. Prosecutors detailed allegations that included sexual assault, sending explicit material through social media platforms, and attempting to arrange sexual encounters. Investigators cited evidence obtained through interviews and digital communications.
Officials said the severity of the sentence reflects both the number of victims and the abuse of authority involved in the case.
