The Denver Broncos defeated the Los Angeles Rams 30-26 on Sunday night at Empower Field at Mile High, overcoming a 16-point deficit to complete one of the biggest comebacks of the young NFL season.

The Rams controlled the first half, taking a 16-0 lead behind three Harrison Mevis field goals and a touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to Tyler Higbee. Denver struggled to generate offense and entered halftime facing a significant deficit.

The Broncos responded after halftime, with quarterback Bo Nix helping spark a comeback. Nix threw touchdown passes to Pat Bryant and Nate Adkins during the third quarter, and Denver converted both two-point attempts to pull even at 16-16.

The game continued to swing back and forth in the fourth quarter. Stafford threw a 48-yard touchdown pass to rookie Konata Mumpfield, but Denver answered when safety Talanoa Hufanga intercepted Stafford and returned the pass for a touchdown, giving the Broncos a 22-19 lead.

The Rams regained the advantage late, but Denver responded with another touchdown. Nix scored on a one-yard rushing touchdown with 48 seconds remaining, putting the Broncos ahead 30-26 after Will Lutz's extra point.

Los Angeles had one final opportunity to take the lead. Stafford moved the Rams deep into Denver territory and completed several passes in the final seconds, but Hufanga intercepted him at the Denver 19-yard line with two seconds remaining to seal the victory.

Stafford finished with 390 passing yards and two touchdowns, but his two interceptions proved costly. Davante Adams led the Rams with seven catches for 137 yards, while Kyren Williams added 88 rushing yards.

Nix completed 17 of 34 passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for a score. Hufanga's two interceptions, including the 34-yard pick-six, played a decisive role in Denver's comeback.

The victory moved Denver to 2-1 on the season, while the Rams fell to 1-2.
