Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince warned that the growing ability of Super Intelligence to identify cybersecurity weaknesses could create a near-constant stream of security emergencies for businesses and governments.
“Every single week it's going to feel like the sky is falling,” Prince said, describing a future in which advanced systems uncover critical vulnerabilities faster than organizations can address them.
The warning reflects growing concerns that the same technology capable of helping security researchers detect flaws could also give malicious actors powerful new tools for identifying weaknesses in software, networks and digital infrastructure.
Companies could face mounting pressure to patch vulnerabilities quickly as automated systems become more effective at analyzing code and finding potential entry points for cyberattacks. Organizations with outdated systems or limited cybersecurity resources could be particularly exposed.
Cloudflare provides internet infrastructure and cybersecurity services to businesses and organizations worldwide, placing it at the center of efforts to defend websites, applications and networks against digital threats.
The broader challenge is that discovering a vulnerability is only the first step. Companies must determine which systems are affected, develop and deploy fixes, and ensure that attackers cannot exploit the weakness before protections are in place.
Prince's warning highlights how advances in Super Intelligence could intensify the cybersecurity race, requiring businesses to strengthen their defenses and respond to newly discovered flaws with greater speed.
