At one point, an officer attempted to use a lasso to catch Maggie. However, the animal continued evading capture as officers worked to stop her from roaming along the busy road.
The pursuit eventually ended when an officer successfully lassoed the Highland cow, allowing authorities to bring the situation under control and prevent her from continuing along the roadway.
Little Cabin’s Farm later confirmed that Maggie had returned home safely. The farm animal’s escape had created a potentially dangerous situation, as her movements among passing vehicles could have posed a risk to both motorists and the cow herself.
Highland cattle are recognizable for their long coats and distinctive horns, but Maggie’s roadside adventure demonstrated the difficulty of containing a determined animal on the move. Fortunately, the incident ended with Maggie safely back at the farm.
