President Donald Trump’s super PAC, MAGA Inc., directed $10 million to support Republican Ken Paxton’s Senate campaign in Texas, marking the group’s first general election expenditure ahead of the November midterms.

The contribution, disclosed in a filing made public Saturday, comes one day after Trump pledged in an Oval Office press conference to allocate between $400 million and $500 million from the super PAC to Republican candidates this cycle. Trump described the funds as “my money that I control” and emphasized the need to spend aggressively to maintain Republican advantages.

MAGA Inc. reported roughly $403.5 million in cash on hand as of July 31, according to Federal Election Commission filings. Trump claimed the organization held close to a billion dollars, though that figure exceeds publicly reported totals. The super PAC has raised additional sums in recent months, including $18 million in June and $3 million in July.

The $10 million outlay represents a shift after months of limited general election activity. Earlier spending focused primarily on primaries, such as more than $827,000 to aid Sen. Darline Graham in South Carolina. Republicans in competitive races have pressed for greater deployment of the war chest to defend Senate seats and retain House control.

Major donors to MAGA Inc. include cryptocurrency executives and other high-net-worth individuals aligned with Trump’s agenda. Corporate contributions have also flowed into the group, consistent with broader trends in super PAC financing.

With the midterms less than two months away, the Texas allocation signals the start of a broader push. Trump stated he would personally direct spending toward winnable races, underscoring the super PAC’s role in bolstering Republican prospects nationwide.
