Sam’s Club announced Thursday that its biggest Thanksgiving meal deal yet will feature 11 Member’s Mark items for approximately $160, serving up to 16 people. The warehouse retailer says the meal is designed to simplify holiday preparation while offering a larger spread than its previous Thanksgiving packages.
The meal includes a boneless carver ham, hickory-smoked turkey, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, green beans with dried cranberries and almonds, macaroni and cheese, sweet corn with garlic butter, cranberry crunch salad, yeast dinner rolls, a charcuterie tray and two 12-inch pumpkin pies.
Sam’s Club said the expanded menu reflects holiday food trends and feedback from its members. The company also highlighted a newly developed gravy that went through multiple rounds of testing, along with the addition of a charcuterie tray for guests to enjoy before the main meal.
Beginning Wednesday, October 28, members will be able to add the full meal to their online shopping carts with one click, while retaining the option to add or remove individual items. The food can also be purchased in stores. Sam’s Club cautioned that final prices, serving sizes, and product availability may vary by location.
The retailer estimates that preparing the meal should take less than two hours of cooking, heating, and other preparation. Making the same dishes from scratch could require seven to nine hours, according to the company.
However, the larger spread comes at a higher price than last year’s offering. In 2025, Sam’s Club advertised a nine-dish Thanksgiving feast designed to serve 10 people for less than $100.
This year’s menu adds ham, turkey gravy, and a charcuterie tray, along with a second pumpkin pie and additional portions of macaroni and cheese and green beans. Sweet potato mash, which appeared in last year’s meal, has been dropped.
Sam’s Club’s announcement follows Aldi’s unveiling of a Thanksgiving deal designed to feed 10 people for less than $39. Aldi’s 12-item package includes a 16-pound turkey and ingredients for other holiday dishes, positioning it as a substantially cheaper option for households focused on keeping costs down.
Other major retailers could soon join the competition. Last year, Walmart advertised a Thanksgiving meal basket with more than 20 items for a family of 10 for less than $40, while Target promoted a dinner for four for under $20 before tax. Amazon also offered a $25 Thanksgiving meal designed to serve five.
The competing deals arrive as grocery prices remain above year-ago levels. September data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed food prices up 2.5% compared with September 2025, while prices for food purchased for home consumption rose approximately 1.8%.
Although retailers are promoting discounted holiday packages, shoppers’ final costs will depend on the meal they choose, local prices, and the additional items they purchase. Sam’s Club’s $160 spread offers a larger menu and convenience, while lower-priced alternatives may appeal to families seeking to stretch their Thanksgiving budgets.
