Republican John Sununu holds a narrow one-point lead over Democrat Chris Pappas in the latest survey of the New Hampshire Senate race.

The poll from Fabrizio, taken August 27 through 30, found Sununu at 37 percent support and Pappas at 36 percent. Three percent of respondents backed other candidates, while 23 percent remained undecided. The survey included 600 likely voters.

High undecided numbers leave room for movement in the contest. The results come roughly a week before early September and reflect a closely divided electorate in the state.

Sununu's slim edge aligns with patterns in prior cycles where Republican candidates have performed strongly in New Hampshire federal races. Pappas, the current U.S. representative, faces the challenge of consolidating support among undecided voters in the weeks ahead.

The race remains fluid given the substantial share of respondents who have not yet committed to a choice. Poll margins of this size fall within typical sampling error for surveys of this scale.
