President Donald Trump voted in Florida’s midterm elections Saturday, telling reporters he supported every Republican on the ballot before heading to Georgia for a rally.
Trump and first lady Melania Trump arrived together at the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections office in West Palm Beach after the president spent the morning at a nearby golf course. Wearing an “I Voted” sticker, Trump was asked whether he voted along party lines.
“Very much so,” he replied.

Trump has previously faced criticism for voting by mail despite repeatedly criticizing the practice. His in-person appearance Saturday came as Republicans compete to maintain their political standing in Florida and across the country.
At the polling location, Trump defended an advertisement from Ohio Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy that has drawn criticism for featuring the estranged mother of Democratic rival Dr. Amy Acton. Acton’s mother lost custody of her children after Acton’s stepfather was indicted for raping her when she was 12.
Trump also defended his directive for his administration to pursue a lawsuit seeking to block certification of Alaska’s U.S. Senate race if Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan loses. The dispute concerns the presence of a second candidate named Dan Sullivan on the ballot.
Asked about the war in Iran, Trump said he might need to bring the conflict to an end militarily but left open the possibility of a negotiated agreement.
“I may have to finish it off. Or maybe they’ll make a deal, but I’m not sure,” Trump said. “Either way, we win.”
Melania Trump was asked whether she might travel to Ukraine after helping broker a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine near Oleshky, a Russian-occupied city in southern Ukraine. The agreement was intended to allow humanitarian aid deliveries and civilian evacuations.
“We will see,” she told reporters.
In Florida, Trump has endorsed Republican Rep. Byron Donalds in the gubernatorial race. Donalds is running against David Jolly, a former Republican who later became an independent and then a Democrat, to succeed term-limited Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Trump has also campaigned for Republican Sen. Ashley Moody, who is seeking election to the final two years of former Sen. Marco Rubio’s term. Moody faces Angie Nixon, a progressive state lawmaker, in the race.
