President Donald Trump received a clean bill of health after undergoing a comprehensive medical examination on Tuesday at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, according to a report released Friday by his physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella.
The three-hour exam included a CT scan, heart imaging, cancer screenings, and evaluations by 22 specialists. Dr. Barbabella concluded that Trump’s cognitive and physical performance are “excellent” and that he is “fully fit” to continue serving as president.
Trump weighed 238 pounds during the exam, up 14 pounds from his April 2025 physical, resulting in a body mass index of 29.7. Doctors advised him on diet and physical activity. His cholesterol levels continued to improve significantly with medication, dropping to 143 from 223 in 2018.
The report noted minor bruising on Trump’s hands from frequent handshaking and a slight improvement in lower leg swelling related to a previously disclosed condition. Trump scored a perfect 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, matching his previous results.
This marks the fourth publicly disclosed physical since Trump returned to office for his second term. The president, who turns 80 next month, has emphasized his high energy levels and demanding schedule, including regular golf outings.
