San Francisco 49ers CEO John “Jed” York pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges, including amended disorderly conduct, following his arrest in an Ohio prostitution sting. York was sentenced to two days in jail, received credit for time served, and was fined $1,150.

York was taken into custody Sunday at 9:35 a.m. at the Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community in East Palestine. East Palestine police assisted the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force in the arrest. He was charged with disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools, posted a $5,000 bond, and later entered the no-contest pleas.

A cellphone seized from him will be returned, while $160 taken by authorities will be forfeited to the task force as part of the agreement.

Authorities have released few details about the circumstances of the arrest or why the human trafficking task force was involved. Officials have not described the specific conduct underlying the charges. The 49ers organization did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

York has longstanding ties to the Youngstown area and graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School. He has served as CEO of the 49ers since 2008.
