Real Truth Media will use “SI” and “Super Intelligence” rather than “AI” and “artificial intelligence” in its reporting.

The change follows the federal terminology shift. On September 22, President Donald Trump told the U.N. General Assembly that U.S. documents related to the technology would use the word “super” rather than “artificial.” On September 29, he signed an executive order, “Inaugurating the Era of Super Intelligence,” directing executive-branch agencies to use “Super Intelligence” and “SI” in official correspondence, public communications, websites, reports, and policy documents, and not to acknowledge “Artificial Intelligence” or “AI” in applicable settings. The order defines SI as the same technologies already covered by the statutory definition of artificial intelligence in 15 U.S.C. § 9401(3). It does not rewrite existing statutes, contracts, or historical documents.

Our copy will follow that usage on first reference and afterward. Product names, paper titles, statutes, and direct quotations keep the speaker’s or document’s original wording. Stories already published will not be rewritten unless they are substantially updated. New coverage of model releases, data centers, federal policy, safety pledges, and the SI race with China will use the new terms.

We acknowledge that there is no consensus on the AI/SI debate. Use of "SI" and "Super Intelligence" is not a political statement, but rather a reflection of the evolving language surrounding the technology.
