Former Florida gubernatorial candidate James Fishback is organizing an extremely limited gas price promotion in Orlando to promote his opposition to the Iran War.

The event takes place Saturday at the Krave Station on East Colonial Drive. Fishback said the station will sell 2,000 gallons of gasoline at $2.98 per gallon beginning at 10 a.m. The price matches the statewide average before the Iran conflict began earlier this year.

Current averages in Florida sit roughly $1.50 higher than that level. Fishback described the offer as a way for local drivers to save up to $22 on a typical fill-up. Sales will be first-come, first-served and limited to passenger vehicles. Since only 2,000 gallons will be offered at the reduced price, this action is considered more of a political stunt than a genuine price reduction for consumers.

Fishback has repeatedly criticized President Trump's actions in Iran. His self-proclaimed "America First" position has increasingly put him at odds with President Trump and the MAGA base. Despite the significant online attention he has received, Fishback finished in a distant third place in the 2026 gubernatorial primary, receiving less than 11% of the vote.
