The Green Bay Packers defeated the Carolina Panthers 27-19 on Thursday night at Lambeau Field, earning a bounce-back victory behind a three-touchdown performance from quarterback Jordan Love.

Love completed 30 of 41 passes for 288 yards, three touchdowns and one interception as Green Bay improved to 5-3 on the season. The Packers established control through the first three quarters, building a 27-10 advantage before Carolina attempted to mount a comeback in the final period.

Green Bay opened the scoring with a touchdown pass from Love to tight end Tucker Kraft. Running back Josh Jacobs added a one-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter, and rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden caught a 24-yard touchdown pass to extend the Packers' lead.

Love connected with Jacobs on a four-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter, giving Green Bay a 27-10 cushion. The Packers' defense then kept Carolina from reaching the end zone again until the fourth quarter.

The Panthers made a late push when quarterback Bryce Young connected with Jalen Coker on a 26-yard touchdown pass with just over five minutes remaining. Carolina failed to convert the ensuing two-point attempt, leaving the Packers with an eight-point lead.

Green Bay's defense held firm over the closing possessions to secure the victory.

Wide receiver Christian Watson also made a significant contribution after an eventful night. Despite leaving the game with a chest injury and undergoing medical evaluation, Watson returned to action and finished with eight receptions for 113 yards, leading the Packers in receiving.

The Packers finished with 354 total yards, including 288 through the air, while recording 21 first downs. Green Bay's defense also pressured Young throughout the night, recording six sacks and limiting Carolina to 258 total yards.

The victory gives Green Bay a 5-3 record as the team looks to build momentum heading into the next stretch of the regular season.
