An armed man arrested on August 2 at President Donald Trump's golf course in California allegedly possessed extensive notebooks containing schedules for First Lady Melania Trump and members of the president's Secret Service detail.

Jeanine John Taele, 38, appeared in court on Wednesday, where prosecutors disclosed that he had seven notebooks filled with 208 pages of material.

The judge overseeing the case suspended the charges against Taele, opting to send the former U.S. Marine to mental health court to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

Los Angeles County Judge John Lonergan Jr. found that during his pretrial evaluation, Taele was mentally unfit to stand trial.

During the Wednesday hearing, however, the prosecution showed documents including drawings and sketches of Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles in Rancho Palos Verdes, lists of Secret Service schedules, details about individual security personnel, and copies of Melania Trump's schedule.

Taele was arrested after plainclothes federal agents observed him walking the golf course grounds, taking photographs and videos, and appearing to monitor security planning ahead of the president's visit for a Republican fundraising event.

Deputies found a 16-round magazine loaded with hollow-point ammunition in his pocket. A search of his vehicle turned up a loaded pistol with a round chambered and another magazine of hollow-point ammunition.

A search of Taele's home found firearms, body armor, high-capacity magazines, and other items.

Taele is a decorated U.S. Marine who served two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan between 2008 and 2016, according to a Marine Corps spokesperson.

Taele’s bail was revoked, and he remains in custody pending his next court appearance on Sept.9.
