Brad Keselowski will leave RFK Racing after the 2026 NASCAR season, ending his five-year run with the organization while leaving his future ownership stake unresolved.

RFK Racing and Keselowski, who serves as both co-owner and driver, announced Tuesday that he will depart at the conclusion of the season. Keselowski joined Roush Fenway Racing as a co-owner in 2021 and began driving for the rebranded RFK organization in 2022 after spending most of his career with Team Penske.

“I’m nowhere near ready to be done as a driver,” Keselowski said in a statement. “I still have a lot I want to accomplish in the sport, and I’m looking forward to what comes next.”

His departure as a driver does not automatically end his ownership role. The team said the two sides will collaboratively work through the next steps regarding his existing ownership interest, leaving open the possibility that he could eventually sell his stake.

RFK Racing President Chip Bowers praised Keselowski’s contributions on and off the track and said the organization supports his plans to continue racing.

Keselowski, 42, has 36 career Cup Series victories in 623 starts. His most recent win came at Darlington Raceway in 2024—his only victory during his time with RFK while driving the No. 6 Ford Mustang. Career highlights include the Coca-Cola 600, Brickyard 400, and Southern 500. His six Cup wins at Talladega Superspeedway are tied with Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. for the second-most in NASCAR history. He earned 34 of his 36 victories during 12 seasons with Team Penske from 2010 through 2021.

RFK plans to remain a three-car organization next season and holds two charters for 2027. The future of the No. 6 seat and the resolution of Keselowski’s ownership interest remain to be determined as he opens the next chapter of his driving career.
