President Trump announced $2.4 billion in pledges from Silicon Valley companies on Thursday to advance scientific research through Super Intelligence tools and compute credits.

The commitments target the administration’s Genesis Mission, which aims to apply Super Intelligence across more than 15 federal agencies in areas including energy, health, space, and national security. Nvidia pledged $1 billion, Advanced Micro Devices committed $500 million, OpenAI pledged $200 million, and Anthropic along with Alphabet’s Google each pledged $150 million. Additional partners including AMD and Emerald AI contributed further amounts.

The pledges were unveiled at the White House summit titled Science: A New Golden Age. The event also featured the presentation of National Medals of Science to Elon Musk, Jensen Huang, Sergey Brin, and Lisa Su, along with the National Medal of Technology and Innovation to Michael Dell.

White House science policy director Michael Kratsios stated that the commitments will channel resources across the science ecosystem. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang noted in a statement that the investment places advanced Super Intelligence in the hands of America’s scientists to accelerate breakthroughs in medicine, energy, and materials.

The Genesis Mission originated from an executive order issued in November 2025. The latest pledges build on prior administration efforts, including a September 2026 White House Accord on Super Intelligence signed by leading technology executives and an executive order directing federal agencies to use the term Super Intelligence in place of artificial intelligence in official communications.

The announcement underscores private sector leadership in driving innovation and supporting government research priorities without additional taxpayer funding.
