Former aides to Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman launched an anonymous X account on Friday, vowing to share more internal messages and accounts of his time in office following a Wall Street Journal report that detailed his reluctance to perform routine Senate duties.

The account, which quickly gained tens of thousands of followers, posted that recent revelations represent "the tip of the iceberg" and that conditions inside the office were "even worse than you thought." A former staffer confirmed to The Philadelphia Inquirer that the group consists of legitimate ex-employees planning to release authentic accounts.

The WSJ article, published earlier Friday, included text messages in which Fetterman dismissed requests for meetings with constituents and officials. In one exchange, the senator questioned why he had to meet with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia leaders concerned about Medicaid and vaccines, writing that they "just want free trips to DC."

Another set of messages showed Fetterman balking at attending a funeral for three slain police officers in his hometown area because it would last three hours and require formal attire. He described the commitment as a potential "nonstarter."

The report also noted instances where Fetterman skipped meetings with paralyzed veterans and other groups after they had traveled to Washington, prioritizing media appearances instead. Former aides described a pattern of minimal engagement with hearings and constituent services.

This latest development follows earlier leaks of Fetterman's texts that portrayed him as increasingly dismissive of progressive priorities and aligned with some conservative positions. The new account signals that disgruntled staffers intend to continue releasing material that could further damage the senator's standing ahead of his 2028 reelection bid.

Fetterman's office has not issued a public response to the account or the latest round of reporting. The senator has previously attributed past staff complaints to disgruntled former employees.
