An autopsy performed on actress Hayden Panettiere revealed no signs of trauma that contributed to her death, the Greenville County Coroner’s Office announced Tuesday.
Panettiere, 37, was found unresponsive at a residence in South Carolina on Sunday. The cause and manner of her death remain under investigation and have not been determined.
The coroner’s office provided an update on the autopsy results but offered no additional details on the circumstances surrounding the discovery. Emergency services responded to the location at approximately 1:51 p.m. on Sunday.
Panettiere rose to fame with roles in the soap opera “One Life to Live” and the series “Heroes.” She later appeared in films including “Scream 4” and voiced characters in animated features.
Officials have not released the location of the residence or any information about others present at the time. The investigation continues as toxicology and other tests are pending.
