Organizers of Freedom 250 have unveiled the initial lineup for The Great American State Fair, a major musical celebration honoring America’s 250th anniversary on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
The event, running from June 25 to July 10, will feature performances by country star Martina McBride, rapper Flo Rida, Vanilla Ice, Bret Michaels, C+C Music Factory, The Commodores, Young MC, Milli Vanilli, Morris Day & The Time, and many more artists to be announced.
Martina McBride is scheduled to open the fair on June 25, while Bret Michaels will perform on July 3. The 16-day festival aims to bring together Americans from all 56 states and territories to celebrate the nation’s traditions, innovation, music, military heritage, freedom, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Freedom 250 CEO Keith Krach said the event represents “a moment for America to come together,” showcasing the best of the country and the opportunities ahead. The fair is expected to draw large crowds to the National Mall as part of the broader nationwide celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of American independence.
