The Philadelphia Eagles improved to 2-0 on the season with a 24-20 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

The victory marked the first time the Eagles have ever won in Nashville. Philadelphia has made just three prior trips to Nissan Stadium, and Tennessee has won all three. The Titans defeated the Eagles 27-24 in 2002, 37-19 in 2010 and 26-23 in overtime in 2018.

Jalen Hurts completed 26 of 37 passes for 264 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. DeVonta Smith caught 10 passes for 117 yards and one score. Tank Bigsby rushed for a touchdown in place of the injured Saquon Barkley.

Barkley exited after the opening play with a stinger and did not return. Dallas Goedert also left with a knee injury.

The Eagles led 14-10 at halftime after a pair of second-quarter touchdowns. They extended the advantage with a 58-yard field goal by Jake Elliott in the third quarter before adding a late score to seal the win.

The Titans scored first on a Cam Ward rushing touchdown but could not overcome the deficit. Ward finished 13 of 20 for 183 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. Tony Pollard led the Titans with 64 rushing yards.

The game was played in hot conditions, with temperatures reaching the mid-90s. The Eagles controlled the ball for over 36 minutes and converted 11 of their 18 third downs.

Philadelphia opened the season with a 24-22 win over Washington. Tennessee falls to 0-2 after a Week 1 loss to the Jets.
