A GoFundMe campaign for the parents of Lindsay Clancy surpassed $1.12 million in donations on Saturday, one day after a Massachusetts judge declared a mistrial in her high-profile murder trial.

The Musgrove Family Fund, launched August 11 by Wisconsin organizer Brandee Mulligan to benefit Clancy's father, Michael Musgrove, and his wife, Paula, had collected $1,124,849 from roughly 33,500 donors as of Friday. The page's goal was later increased to $3 million amid the surge in contributions.

Plymouth Superior Court Judge William Sullivan declared a mistrial on Friday after jurors deadlocked following about 38 hours of deliberations in the case against the 36-year-old former nurse. Clancy faces three counts of first-degree murder for the January 2023 deaths of her children, Cora, Dawson, and Callan, in the family's Duxbury home. She has admitted to the killings, but her defense argued she was not criminally responsible due to postpartum psychosis.

Mulligan stated in a Friday update that the increased goal accounts for the extended legal process and ongoing costs for the parents, who relocated from Connecticut to Massachusetts to support their daughter. The funds go directly to Mike and Paula Musgrove for expenses such as travel, lodging, and living costs incurred over more than three years. The campaign specifies that donations do not require agreement on the case outcome and are not intended for Clancy's legal defense.

The Plymouth County district attorney indicated prosecutors would decide shortly on whether to retry the case. A status hearing is scheduled for September 29.

The fundraiser has drawn international donations, with the page verified by GoFundMe. Separate campaigns have emerged both supporting and opposing Clancy in the wake of the mistrial.
