RealTruthMedia has been monitoring the outcomes of all Florida District races throughout Tuesday's primary.
Republicans control 20 seats and Democrats seven, with one vacancy.
After hitting his two-term limit, Governor DeSantis cannot run again, opening the field to nearly 30 candidates seeking to succeed him.
Before leaving office, DeSantis signed into law new congressional boundaries during the 2026 legislative year. This election will be the first test, as new political territories across South Florida have been drawn, forcing some incumbents and longtime officeholders into unfamiliar or more competitive contests. While the new map is facing litigation in Florida courts, it will be used for this year’s election.
